- Why "Just Vibes" and "Pre-Revenue"?
- Because UpTurtle is focused on Just Vibes.
- Is the $5 forever?
- Pricing is provisional and may change.
- What counts as one app?
- A distinct URL that is deployed version by version. Two apps = $10/mo. We don't do "request units" or other fractional billing.
- Do you have a free tier?
- No. Small vibe customers are our customer, not just a path to our real customer's pockets. We do have a free 14 day trial with no card up front.
- How does the trial work?
- Sign up and start building, no credit card required. If you decide to keep going, add a payment method whenever you're ready and it picks up seamlessly at $5/mo. If you don't add one by day 14, your apps simply wind down. We'd rather be honest than free-ish.
- Can I have more than one app during the trial?
- Yes, but additional apps are billed from the day you create them. The trial is for your first app. If you spin up app #2 we charge $5 immediately and the meter is running on it from day one. We don't auto-charge: you have to actively increase your app limit, and deploy an app toward that limit. No surprise bills.
- How do app limits get billed?
- Whenever you or your agent create a new app, that app counts toward your app limit. At app creation, the $5 is charged and that app count stays paid for the full month. Delete the app and create a new app before the month is up: same high water mark for app count and no extra charge. We don't do partial refunds, but we also don't double-bill you for the same number of apps.
- Will I ever be charged automatically?
- Only for apps you've already created. If you add a payment method during your trial, your first app converts to a paid app when the trial ends and we send you a heads-up two days before. We renew paid app monthly until you cancel them.
- Can my AI run up my UpTurtle bill?!
- No. You must increase the app limit yourself in the dashboard. Your AI has to surface the charge to you and get a yes before any new app is bought. Do not allow your AI access to do things as you in your browser.
- What about my app that needs huge scale?
- We are intentionally building an experience that is excellent for small apps and vibe coders. If you need ten regions and a dedicated CSM, UpTurtle might not be the platform but reach out to us and we will see how we can help.

- What's the difference between a development app and a production app?
- A development app is for vibing, prototyping, and sharing with friends. A production app is for the thing you actually want to keep online and stable for real users. Just Vibes includes exactly one free development app. Every app after that (dev or production) is $5/mo each.
- How many free apps do I get?
- One. The free development app is a single slot. App number two onward is $5/mo each, whether you treat it as another dev app or as a production app.
- Do I need a credit card?
- Not to start. Your one free development app needs no card. Cards only get involved if you spin up a second app at $5/mo, and even then you have to actively buy it.
- Is the pricing forever?
- Pricing is provisional and may change. The free development app stays free.
